Gul Karen is an avid researcher and Founder & Executive Director of the Neurolize Youth Initiative. She has been working with like-minded peers and professionals in their fields to equalize science access, decrease migration-related marginalization, and activate interest in her brain science enthusiasm.

Her role in Neurolize Youth takes numerous forms, from restructuring the initiative profile to systemizing initiative work & impact or motivating her team. She is a senior in high school with research experience in gene expression analysis, developmental neuroscience, osteology, and more.
